On this route we will explore impassable and isolated places, such as Menies and Chironisia beaches. It will take us about half an hour to reach the first beach with its clear blue waters
and absolute tranquility. You will be able to rest in a place without crowds while, if you are interested, we suggest you take a walk and see the ancient ruins of the sanctuary that was
dedicated to the goddess Vritomartis.
Our next stop is Chironisia Bay, where you can swim with a mask and explore the sea caves.
We will continue with island of Thodorou or Agioi Theodoroi has crystal clear waters and a rich underwater sealife, ideal to admire by swimming with a mask. On the island you will also see the famous kri-kri, the wild goats of Crete, that have the island as their refuge and are the only ones of their kind in the whole of Europe. Furthermore, we will make a stop right on top of the wreckage of the German Ju 52 aircraft, which you can explore by swimming with a diving mask and snorkel.
On the other hand, the island of Lazareta is a small and beautiful island with rich history from the Venetian period, as it was the region’s purgatory. On the island you can enjoy the clear blue waters and you have plenty of time to relax.
